The Rocky Horror Picture has been one of my favorite musicals for a long time. It’s campy, classic, and out of this world. During my final year of undergrad at CSUF I decided to take an independent study to deep dive into this musical and design costumes, hair, and makeup for most of the characters based on merging classic 50s style and the 90s queer Club Kid aesthetic. I also styled the wig I designed for Magenta at the end of the play in her full Transylvanian costume.
