Cabaret

Set in late 1920s Berlin during the rise of the Nazi party, Cabaret is a musical that revolves around relationships with ones self, others, and identity. My concept was to create two distinct worlds, the hedonistic and seedy Kit Kat Klub and the real world. The makeup for characters in the Kit Kat Klub was dramatic and a little “rough around the edges” with period inspired wigs. Characters in the real world had hair and makeup that is more accurate to the time.
